Hurricane Generator Special
The "Hurricane Special" is as follows... The customer comes in and puts down $199.00 to "reserve" a generator for the whole hurricane season. There will also be a $25.00 per month "storage" charge. Essentially you are paying Aldrich Tool Rental $199.00 down and $25.00 per month for Aldrich Tool Rental to put a “new” generator on the shelf and hold it for you throughout the whole hurricane season.
A limited number of these generators were purchased just for this "special" and will be kept here at all times reserved for each individual who chooses to participate in the program. In the event the customer decides they want to "rent" the generator they have "reserved", the customer may come in anytime from June 1, 2005 until November 30, 2005 and rent the generator at our normal rental rate and deposit, which would be $68.49 per day or $241.46 per week (5000 watts) and the normal deposit of $500.00. The $199.00 "reservation charge" and/or the $25.00 monthly "storage" fee will not apply toward the cost of the rental. In the case of multiple storms, (God Forbid!) the generator will be available for rent to the program participant as long as they continue to pay the $25.00 monthly fee each month throughout the hurricane season.
If at any time the customer decides to purchase the generator instead of renting it, the $199.00 charge will apply toward the purchase price of the generator ($1895.00 for a 5000 watt). The $25.00 monthly "storage" charge will not apply to the purchase. The generators purchased for this program are construction quality generators designed and built to withstand the extreme extended usage that is required on a construction site or in the event of the aftermath of a natural disaster such as a hurricane. These are brand name quality generators that we normally carry in our rental fleet and have held up very well under the extreme conditions of rental duty.
